[NRG] 1st New England Networking and Systems Day: Abstracts due Oct 1!

Just a reminder that abstracts for lightening talks for this new event are
due in a week, on October 1!  Please do send in your abstracts and help us
spread the word!

The 1st Annual New England Network and Systems Day will be held on Friday,
October 24th, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m at Boston University’s Rafik B.
Hariri Institute for Computing and Computational Sciences Engineering, at
111 Cummington Mall, Boston, MA 02215. The event is free and open to the
public. Sponsored and hosted by the Hariri Institute, the New England
Network and Systems Day brings together academics and research scientists
from local industry, universities and research labs to discuss recent
advances in networking and systems.

*We are currently soliciting abstracts for lightning talks.*  Please submit
your 1-page abstract by Wednesday October 1, 2014 using the link below:

https://nens.ccs.neu.edu

The organizers will notify those whose talks were selected for the program
by Monday October 6, 2014.

The program will feature three keynotes, and two sessions of 10 minute
lightning talks by local academics and practitioners.
Confirmed keynote speakers are:

   - Mohammad Alizadeh, Cisco
   - Phillipa Gill, Stonybrook University, NY
   - Xia Zhou, Dartmouth
