FYI. Tim says:

"Just so you know, we've still a reasonable amount of space left so anyone
who wants to come should definitely register, but we may be full by the
time the event happens unless we move to a larger space. I'll let you and
everyone know if we fill up, plus I will put an announcement on the
webpage."

Subject: Big Transparency for the NSA: event at Brown, December 4

BU friends:

We've got a terrific workshop put together for the Wednesday after
Thanksgiving (December 4), from 12:30-3:45. This may be something you or
your students will find it worth the effort to come to Providence to attend.

Great speakers including the ACLU attorney who challenged the NSA program
in the Supreme Court, the NSA's chief compliance officer, and top
journalists from The New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street
Journal.

Let me know also if there are others you think might be interested.

Space is limited, so I am suggesting (but not requiring) that people
register.
