See below for a new routing emulation environment from Juniper. If
this is of interest to you or your colleagues, let me know and I'll
introduce you to Dave and Joel.

Sharon -

I wanted to introduce you to Joel who works with me and leads our
project "Virtual JunOS in the Cloud." We've created an environment
that you might be interested where we have built a JunOS image with a
full featured forwarding and control plane (is the actual JunOS that
ships on the routers) in the cloud and can build very large
topologies. In addition we use this image for prototyping and R&D work
on new features. For example, prefix validation will first be working
in this environment. We are looking to work with service providers and
academics that need the ability to build large topologies and have a
revision control system for the experiments (or coursework). We can
also run dynamips (IOS images) and peer from the cloud to real
routers/networks as well which is also useful in it's own right.
Additionally we have some third party tools (spirent, packet design,
and open source tools) ported to the environment to make things a bit

If you think such an environment might help your work, we are very
interested in working with you.
