I should also mention that during mergeelf, I did receive an error:
BFD: ramdisk.elf: warning: allocated section `khctl.cpio.gz.uimg.bin'
not in segment
BFD: ramdisk.elf: warning: allocated section `khctl.hush.uimg.bin' not
in segment

(I received a similar error when buildking the cnk.elf)
