Please join us on Wednesday, March 22nd for our Wed at Hariri talk, which will be given by James Bessen, Lecturer of Law and Director and Founder of Research on Innovation. In his presentation, Professor Bessen will discuss the impact of new computer technology and the decline of manufacturing jobs on unemployment. Bessen will also provide an overview of his research on the creation of jobs coinciding with emerging computer automation, in contrast to the fear of robots as replacements for human workers, and emerging technology’s impact on economic inequality.

This event is hosted in collaboration with the Center for Reliable Information Systems & Cyber Security (RISCS) and BU/MIT Technology & Cyberlaw Clinic.
