Talk: Delivering an Enterprise Scale Container Management, Orchestration and PaaS with OpenShift

OpenShift is delivering an Enterprise container management and application platform, it enables agile application development, provisioning and lifecycle Management. At the heart of OpenShift are containers, Kubernetes to enable not only delivery of 12 factor applications but also stateful applications and services. In this session we will explain the motivation and architecture of OpenShift, how it can be used to empower developers and IT operations at the same time. A number of real life use cases will be covered and covered in detail (architecture, business drivers, benefits, implementation) The various implementation options and real life use cases will be discussed and also how OpenShift enables microservice architectures for large scale infrastructure will be discussed. We will also cover an outlook into OpenShift's future roadmap and capabilities. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers following the talk.
