Subject: WikiLeaks Competition - $1000 cash prize

I'm a phd student at the University of Warwick and have recently set up a social networking website based on knowledge and ideas (www.researchnexus.org<http://www.researchnexus.org>).

We have a WikiLeaks article competition with a $1000 first prize, and an elite panel of judges including Alain de Botton and Johan Galtung. The closing date for the competition is this Friday.

Would it be possible to forward the details below to your staff and students?

If you have any questions about the site or the competition, please don't hesitate to ask.

Kind regards,

WikiLeaks Competition on Research Nexus. $1000 cash prize. Create a profile and upload your article now!

Research Nexus (http://www.researchnexus.org<https://mywebmail.warwick.ac.uk/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.researchnexus.org>) is a website assisting collaboration between academia and industry. As part of its launch, it is holding a WikiLeaks article competition. Articles should be 500-750 words and address the following question:

Is the recent treatment of Julian Assange and widespread political condemnation of the WikiLeaks websites a reflection of democracy in decline or the legitimate protection of a state’s security interests?
