Dear Faculty – happy start of the semester!

Please take a moment to read the message below from the Registrar’s Office about indicating whether or not your course will have a final exam. You will need to log into the faculty link, indicate “yes” or “no” for your courses, and do this no later than 5:00PM on January 26th. If you have any questions just let me know.

This may seem small but it is critical for scheduling purposes, for both the Registrar’s Office and the students. So please make sure you log in and indicate “yes” or “no” for whether your class will have a final exam – especially if the answer is “no”

Instructions are in the message below.

Subject: CC50 now open

Hi all,

The CC50 function is now open. Please be in touch with your faculty, and ask them to update for each course.

Within the Faculty Link, under the heading Instructor's Tools, select Class List. On the following page, select the desired class, then select Final Exam (located at the end of the header bar). For each class taught, instructors will be required to indicate whether or not they intend to give a final exam, Yes or No.

If no choice is made, the system will default to Yes, and schedule a final. It is important for our purposes to know which classes do and do not intend to offer a final, and appreciate your following up with faculty.

The function is scheduled to close at 5pm on Thursday, January 26th. The tentative exam schedule will be available in CC54 the following morning.

Many thanks,

Liza Burke Bates
Associate Registrar for Classroom Management
Office of the University Registrar, Boston University
