Please join us *Friday, November 4th *for a* Data Science Initiative (DSI)
Colloquium* featuring *Frank Pasquale*, Professor of Law at Maryland
University. Hosted by the Hariri Institute for Computing, the
presentation will focus on a number of proposed principles to guide future
data regulation in the United States. The lecture will include a discussion
on how to prevent pervasive inaccuracy or unfairness in important data and
models that are being used in contexts ranging from education to finance to
health care.
