For twice the fun, the CS 591 (E-Commerce) poster session will be held
concurrently with the CS 558 poster session. The E-Commerce students have
conducted a data-driven analysis of a consumer-facing aspect of an online
platform Students will report on results ranging from auditing Kayak's
airfare prediction algorithm to evaluating marketing strategies like "free
promotion" of apps on Amazon's App Store and the use of a tiered reward
structure on Kickstarter.
