==================================================================
The 8th CSAW event  has cybersecurity students across the country
preparing for the year's premier event -- the CSAW Cybersecurity
Competition at NYU-Poly. The best of the best, from high school
students to PhD candidates, will be found at CSAW. CSAW consists of a
series of competitions open to students all around the country. One of
the key components of CSAW is the NYU-Poly AT&T Applied Security Best
Paper Award  given to the best student research performed and/or
published in the previous year.

Student researchers are encouraged to submit their research papers
that were submitted to, or accepted at any conference or journal
between September 1, 2010 and August 31, 2011. The paper can be in any
area related to the application of security technology, the
implementation of systems, and lessons learned.

Submitted papers will be reviewed and 10 finalists will be invited
(expenses paid) to New York City on November 11, 2011 to present their
work as posters to leading experts from industry and the government.
The winners will be announced and presented at a award ceremony on
that day.

Please get more information on CSAW including what to submit, how to
register, last year's winners etc
athttp://www.poly.edu/csaw2011/csaw-research.

The deadline for submission is September 23, 2011.
