Subject: [Toc-social] New Course Announcement on Elliptic Curves to be
taught by Drew Sutherland
To: toc-social at csail.mit.edu

*NEW COURSE*

Drew Sutherland from the Mathematics department -- previously a TOC grad
student -- will be teaching a new course this spring on Elliptic Curve
Theory focusing on
algorithmic aspects and usages for primality testing, factorization, and
identity based
cryptography.

Attached is a more detailed description of the course + time and place.

This is a great addition to our cryptography and algorithmic mathematics
offering.
