About IEEE-TCRTS

Welcome to the IEEE TC-RTS Mailing List!

The Technical Committee on Real-Time Systems of the IEEE Computer Society (IEEE TC-RTS) addresses systems issues in real-time systems. Real-time systems are systems in which its temporal properties are essential for reliability and correctness; the example applications include embedded systems, control systems, monitoring systems, and multimedia systems. The IEEE TC-RTS promotes and facilitates the exchange of research results and development in the areas of applications, databases, distributed and parallel systems, formal methods and timing analysis, networks, operating systems and middleware, programming languages, scheduling and resource management, security, and verification and validation of real-time systems.

The IEEE TC-RTS organizes and sponsors the Real-Time Systems Symposium (RTSS), the Real-Time/Embedded Technology and Applications Symposium (RTAS), and other workshops in real-time systems. For more information, check http://www.computer.org/tab/tclist/tcrts.htm.

The IEEE TC-RTS also supports non-TCRTS sponsored activities through affiliation with other conferences in related areas, including the Euromicro Conference on Real-Time Systems (ECRTS), the International Conference on Real-Time and Embedded Computing Systems Applications (RTCSA) held in Asia, and the ACM Conference on Languages, Compilers, and Tools for Embedded Systems (LCTES).

The IEEE TC-RTS (ieee-tcrts@cs.bu.edu) mailing list is used to send a bi-weekly electronic newsletter that includes announcements and technical discussions pertinent to the community, and abstracts of papers and technical reports that could be obtained via anonymous FTP from the IEEE-CS TC-RTS repository's archive.

The IEEE TC-RTS mailing list, its archives, and the Real-Time Systems Repository are maintained by Azer Bestavros. For more information, check http://www.cs.bu.edu/pub/ieee-rts. If you have comments, please email them to Sang Son, Chair of the IEEE TC-RTS.
